Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 勞工研究所 === 89 === The main purpose of this study is to explore the feasibility of outdoor training in Taiwan corporations. The results of this study will be good references for corporations in Taiwan to adjust training practices and improve staff’s self and teamwork ability.
This study used questionnaires and interviews to collect data. Three hundred (300) questionnaires were sent to HR managers of top 100 industry, monetary and service in Taiwan. The overall return rate is 26.3% with 79 questionnaires were returned from managers. The author collected qualitative information from interviews for which the interviewees were 7 people who have participated outdoor training.
From the questionnaires and interviews, the author gleaned the following conclusions: 1.There are many corporations know outdoor training but not many implementing outdoor training at present. 2.Most corporations agree the function of outdoor training, especially focus on the teamwork function. 3.Outdoor training will be increasingly accepted in the future. 4.Safty is the most important thing when participate the outdoor training. 5.Outdoor training works well in personal and teamwork. 6. Only professional outdoor training trainer can help participant get the target.
Based on the findings and conclusions, the author suggests that corporations should use outdoor training to train staff and find out what kind of outdoor training courses are good to them. As to consultant companies, the author suggests companies should send some personnel to learn eligible outdoor training trainer courses for the future market. As to follow-up researcher, the author suggests researcher can try to study in case study, outdoor training transfer and SMEs(small and medium enterprises).
