The special adhesive element is adopted to analysis the cases of adhesive-bonded lap joints and double patch reparation. In the case of lap-joints, the finite element numerical solutions are compared with theoretical results base on the one dimension classical elastic theory. For reparation, the damage area is simulated as a hole on a composite laminate. The repair efficiency is evaluated by comparing the stress concentration factor on the damaged hole before and after reparation.
