Supply Chain System 供應鏈成員間資訊環境之研究─以C企業供應鏈體系為例 Chung Ming Chen 陳崇銘 碩士 元智大學 資訊管理研究所 88 The purpose of this thesis is aimed to “understand the nature of information environment from ecological aspect and identify/compare the information environment between supply chain members” under notebook PC manufacturing sector. By using case-study method of qualitative research, we selected the best-practices, C Corp., under given sector and one of collaborated companies, S Ltd., at industrial cluster of C Corp. as our domain. In order to explore and explain interdependent relationship between this arbitrary members, we were regarded supply chain system as organic structure and introduced Information Ecology model (Davenport[1997a]) into our theoretical building blocks with information strategies, information politics, information behavior and culture, information staff, information process and information architecture for constructing information environment, respectively. This study is intended to answer “What is the difference on information environment between supply chain members, in order to achieve the goal of effective information environment.” According to the results of our study that is based on data collection, analysis and reasoning through empirical investigation. We identified the information environment between supply chain members even more pointed out the interaction with them and generalized several finding during survey based on six elements of information environment. Hence, we can derive three significant conclusions as following: 1) Misunderstanding of Information Environment; 2) Discoveries on Information Environment between Supply Chain Members; 3) Suggestion of Information Environment between Supply Chain Members for Improvement.
