Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 88 === The array antenna, the beamforming technology is used in microwave transmitter and receiver to increase the capacity of the system and to improve the quality of communications, is a core technique of implementing smart antenna. In the thesis a real-time direction-finding technology with simpler architecture and lower cost is proposed. Using with the beamforming technology a smart antenna can be implemented. Unlike others with high computational complexity or high cost that hinder the applicability, the direction-finding technology we proposed by using some simple RF devices with artificial neural networks, can find the source direction without a great deal of computations, neither a lot of equipment (e.g. magnitude or phase receiver), so can perform with the real-time and low-cost.
