| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 自然科學教育研究所 === 88 === The purpose of this report is to explore whether we can help students to increase their learning attitude and achievements by using computer. For this purpose, researcher has designed a computer simulative software program of "looking at the stars", self-designed achievement test I, self-designed achievement test II, a questionnaire for measuring attitude about astronomy, and a questionnaire of this learning method. There are 144 subjects of fifth grade divided into four classes in one school in Taipei and the method is adopted quasi-experimental designed.
In the quantitative aspects, data obtained from the achievement test and questionnaire for measuring attitude are analyzed by 2 (teaching method) times 2 (gender) factor- analysis of covariance. In the qualitative aspect, data are analyzed from understanding of students'' learning and teacher''s comments.
The main findings of this study are as follows:
1.The presented contents of software are suitable for teaching.
2.The students have benefits especially for boys by using computer simulation.
3.It can promote students to solve the questions in wider and deeper thinking by using computer simulation.
4. It is a good helper in the lesson by using computer simulation.
5.It can improve students'' learning attitude of response.
6.This teaching method and software program is worth of recommending.
