Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 運輸管理學系 === 88 === AVCSS and AHS are the important part of the rapidly growing national and international initiatives on ITS. These aim at significantly increasing both the traffic capacity of existing highways trough vehicle and roadway automation.
This study integrates the automatic car-following, automatic control systems, fuzzy control and control systems of adaptive to establish an automatic car-following model. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model, comparable to manual vehicle following.
The results of this study indicates:
1.The automatic car-following model can maintain a safe distance to the vehicle ahead. This function increases the safety and encourages a more smooth driving. The following process tend to steady finally.
2.When speed is 90km/hr, the capacity is 3600(pcphpl).
3.The automatic car-following model can improve the GM-5 model in following gap, and the number of (m,l) is converge to (2.53, 6.82).
Finally, the results of this study can provide us some information and experiment for research in future.
