The most significant aerodynamic phenomenon for cable-stayed bridges are flutter and buffeting. In the past studies, the effects of different turbulent flows on the buffeting response are still unclear. Therefore, in this study, two section models were used to investigate the effects of wind attack angle and turbulence on buffeting of long-span bridges. In general, the wind force coefficient increases with the attack angle and has a minimum near the angle of zero. The effects of different turbulent flows on the wind force coefficient were also studied. The results indicate that the wind force coefficient were affected by the turbulence. However, the tendency of the change of the wind force coefficient subject to different turbulent intensities were not clear. And the effects of different turbulent scales were not obvious. The two major effects on buffeting are the wind force coefficients and flutter derivatives. The former is especially important on the buffeting. The larger wind force coefficient will yield a larger response. The latter effect is minor on buffeting in most cases. It will become significant as the wind speed approaches the critical wind speed.
