Referring to a cross-culture adjustment structure of expatriates, this research hypothesized that the previous foreign experience, language ability, extroversion and introversion, and self-efficacy of foreign workers have direct effects on adjustment of foreign workers in Taiwan, and these variables have indirect effects on organization commitment and job satisfaction through adjustment. The results of this study are that previous foreign experience, language ability, self-efficacy have significant direct and indirect effects except the extroversion and introversion variable. It was also found that gender, age, education, and marital status have direct effects on adjustment and some of them have significant moderating effects. In the last part of this research, the implication and the limits of these research results are discussed. It is also suggested that these variables can be used as the criteria for foreign worker selection. 黃庭邦 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 108 zh-TW
