However, Taiwan is the seventh largest machine tools production country. Its outstanding performance results from the cooperation of productive systems in medium-and small-scale enterprises in Taiwan. Each productive system develops its special skills and at the same time closely and efficiently cooperated with other systems. In the request of pursuing a better products, the industry of machine tool in Taiwan gradually possesses the competitive advantage of nations. This research will focus on the understanding of the interorganization relationship between partners in the industrial network─power, coordination and conflict, as well as the impact of interorganization relationships on the effect of network. This research is a case method. Three firms and their subcontractors are undergone focus-group interviews in order to understand the practical working situation among the three types─powers, coordination and conflict. Furthermore, the performance of different types of subcontractors and that of whole industrial network are analyzed. Finally, the findings are as follows: 1. The logistics of parts was integrated into simple flow. 2. When technological condition was controlled by each other, different realization will result in conflicts. 3. The close interaction among the members of network benefits to reach the goal of the whole. 4. Small-scale firms begin to enlarge themselves from the cooperation with others. 5. The maturation of subcontract network causes to the homogeneous competition. 6. The structure of network impedes the development of the whole technological skills. 7. The formation of professional parts manufacture factories benefits the change of the machine tool industry. 8. Interactively applying different types of relationships will benefit the performance caused by the firms and their subcontractors. Su Tom 蘇雲華 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 107 zh-TW
