Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 纖維及高分子工程研究所 === 88 === The generation of high reactive hydroxyl radicals which are obtained from the reactions of hydrogen peroxide with ferrous ion is the major reason for Fenton`s reagent with oxidation power. The oxidation power of hydroxyl radical is just somewhat less than that of fluorine. Therefore, most of organic compounds can be easily degraded with out expensive costs for installation and operation. Treating wastewater by using Fenton method can provide with dual effect, coagulation and oxidation, so it can decompose organic matter, poisonous matter, colored matter and treat wastewater of dyes and so on. In this study, we treat wastewater of Reactive dyes with Fenton method. The study can be distinguished into single coagulation procedure, single oxidation procedure, dual coagulation procedure, mixed procedure with oxidation and coagulation, dual oxidation procedure and so on. The result shows that dual oxidation procedure is better then the other. The removal efficiency of COD can be up to 92.2﹪.
