However, their limit resolutions make them awkward in many applications, such as image enlargement. To reduce the effects from the limit resolutions, we proposed a new interpolation method based on multi-resolution analysis theory (with wavelet transform). The experimental results show the proposed method has excellent performance in subjective visual sense and quantitative measurements.
