Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 88 === During the construction life cycle, technology documents are used frequently. The documents include the construction plans, the construction standards, the technology manuals and so on. However, due to the diverse and ill-structured characteristics of construction technology documents, the exchange and transmission of the document information have become a much critical issue in the construction industry. In order to lessen the disadvantage of current situation, it is necessary to establish a electronic system which fulfills the standardization and information-exchange requirements.
This research attempts to address the above issues by applying the SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) and XML(Extensible Markup Language) to analyze the bridge technology documents. Main alivements, in this research are: to use SGML to analyze the bridge construction technology documents; and to use XML to develop a Network-based technology document prototype system.
