Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 88 === This research is to investigate the behavior of mechanics after fire damaged when the carbon fiber compound material was applied to the structural members. Based on the variable of experiment of concrete covers (2.5 cm, 4.0 cm, and 5.5 cm) this research investigated exterior appearance and ultimate strength after fire damaged with three different fire durations (0hr, 1hr, and 2hr). The result of experiments demonstrated that the fire resistance of concrete beam with tendon of carbon fiber is not as good. The ultimate strength and stiffness were substantially reduced after fire damaged. The ultimate strength of reinforcement concrete beam after fire damaged was about three times of that of concrete beam with tendon of carbon fiber after fire damaged. Also the experiments showed that the protective effect of concrete cover was limited for the concrete beam with tendon of carbon fiber. However, the protective effect of concrete cover was good for the reinforcement concrete beam.
