The behavior of flames issuing has various results according to the size, the quantity, and the position of the opening and the type, the quantity and the position of the flammable. In order to prevent the fire of the single building room from provoking the exposure spreading fire of the upper layer and the next building, it is necessary for us to define the behavior and the character of flames issuing with the conditions in exterior openings of building and the flammable. According to the result of the experiment, the position of the wood influences the behavior of flames issuing of the opening very much. It is easy to produce flame when centralizing the timbers near to exterior opening of building ; equally disposing the timbers causes no flame or the height of flame to be low. When single opening and double opening are at a small rate of opening and have large fire load, the inside temperature of both is higher. Meanwhile, the inside temperature of the single opening is higher than that of the double opening.The formula of the height of flames issung and the heat release rate in the single opening of room can be described with the dimensionless consisted of the heat release rate and opening factor and dimensionless consisted of flames issuing and the height of opening .When we decide the formula between the height of flame and the heat release rate in the double opening of room, we only need how the fire load’s quantity affects the heat release rate to describe.
