We use wavelet transform to complete this purpose. First, we discuss the analysis and synthesis process of the wavelet transform. Then we can use the analysis process to reduce the data in the conveyed end. Associated with the quantization and entropy coding, we can get the compressed data, and achieve the purpose of compression. To transfer the compressed data through network to the client end, the system can reduce the transmission time. Furthermore, we use the winsock object of the VB programming language to transfer the compressed data, that use TCP/IP communication transmission control protocol, so the compressed data can be transfer to remote computer exactly. Finally, we combine a simple and practical operating interface to transfer image data that associated with varied wavelet transform form, and can achieve the purpose of real time.
