This paper attempts to discuss the interdependence between design concept and method, and choose a contemporary architect, Rem Koolhaas , as the subject.
The main topic of this essay is divided into three parts:
1) The research of the back ground
Simplifying the datum of the architect and his period
2) The research of the projects
Analyzing the interdependence between design concept and method of the six public projects selected.
3) General analysis
Draw a conclusion about the project studies. Regulating, analyze the identical design concepts that relative to each methods, and discussing the connection between.
From the studies of the interdependence between design concepts and methods, not only understanding the process of using ways to accomplish an abstract idea, but also conceive clearly about their relation. Hope through discussing this matter, I’ll know and understand about the concept and method of designing act.
