碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工程技術研究所設計學程 === 88 === Abstract This paper focuses on two issues of interface design in terms of incorporating speech recognition technology into home video appliance. One issue is for constructing the Chinese interface for voice control. We discuss how to conduct the experiment to collect Chinese voice command terms. By using those collected command terms, we design the interface by considering user behavior and feedback. We adapt the method of "wizard of Oz" to collect Chinese command terms. The other issue is the observation of the multiple users environment with home video appliance. In this phase of research, we implement two modes of interface in the home video appliance for multiple users operation, "share mode voice control" and "master mode voice control". According to the scenario of group operation, we use two modes of voice control and remote controller to design the experiment,and divide it into four phases, "share mode", "master mode","first mixed mode" and "second mixed mode". Finally, with the developed interface and the observation in multiple users environment, we provide guidelines for designing voice interface.
