Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 88 === In order to raise the security and reliability of system operation, the dispersed small generation units have been adopted gradually instedad of using the large-scale generation usnits. In addition, the private-owned cogeneration systems have been encouraged to alleviate the shortage of electricity in Taiwan for many years since the electrican industry deregulation is looking after worldwide. It therefore becomes important to investigate the influences of the co-generation systems to the existing distribution systems from the view-points of configuration and operation. The influences are investigated based on two factors, voltage profile and short-circuit capacity. In this thesis, the congeneration system is selected as the distributed generation facility in the example system because it is widely used in the existing power system. Besides, the mathematical formulation of components used in the distribution system such as transformer, line, load, are well, derived. These models are utilized in the example system to caryy out the simulation. In the simulation, two software packages, PSPICE and ETAP, are adopted to solve the system under the conditions of unbalance and balance respectively. By varying the load, the output of the co-generation unit and the configuration of the systems, the voltage profile of buses and the short circuit capacity are examined. A nine-bus simple system and Taipower system are adopted as the example systems in this study. The results show that the presence of co-generation unit indeed makes influences. Besidens, the thesis attempts to transfer the distribution system configuration from the traditional radial type into ring type by the inclusion of the inter-connection switches between buses. It demonstrates that the voltage profile and short circuit capacity are indeed influenced influenced by the operation of inter-connection switches As a consequence, the electric performance of the existing devices of the radial type distribution system should be carefully considered before the system configuration is transformed into ring type. AII these maters are justified to conduct fufther study in the issue.
