First, we initiate the analysis as a 2-dimensional plane stress problem and calculate each single steeple by using Finite Element Method, to obtain the stress and displacement fields at the region of stress concentration, as the first step toward the analysis of fracture mechanics. Afterwards, derive the analytic solutions of circular disk subject to uniform or periodic load, with condition that the bore appears or not at the boundary in order to reach the criterion that simplifies the computation of the mechanical analysis of the rotating disk.
