Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 造船及海洋工程學研究所 === 88 === Based on the shipboard noise estimation method developed by the domestic and foreign literatures, an empirical noise estimation process is developed. The noise level in the compartment is estimated by using empirical formula, which evaluate the noise source level, attenuation through the transmission path and the room constant of the receiving room. A compartment of an 100 tons patrol boat (L.O.A=30.5m) (shown in figure 4.6) was taken as a computing example, in which the noise sources was classified into three types: 1. The structure borne noise from the engine room, 2. The noise from the nonadjacent compartment and 3.The noise due the ventilation system of the compartment itself. The estimated noise level of the compartment is 77.6dB(A), which is in good agreement with the measured value 79.3dB(A). This result shows that the proposed estimation process can be used at the initial design stage of shipboard.
Finally, a brief suggestion of typical shipboard noise control measures such as vibration isolation, absorptive materials treatments, cladding treatments, structural damping treatments, floating floor and muffler treatments are also discussed.
