Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立台北師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 88 === The Study of the Relationship Between Leadership Behaviors of the Principles and Job Stresses of the Teachers in the Elementary School in Tao-yuan County Abstract The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between behaviors of the principles and job stresses of the teachers in the elementary schools in Tao-yuan County. The expectation of the study was to understand the principles’ leading patterns and the situation of the teachers’ job stresses, to explore that whether there was any difference if the leading- behavior and the job stress were affected by the teachers’ Background Variables, to analyze the relationship between the leading-behavior and the job stress, to use LISREL explaining the relationship between leading-behaviors and job stresses, and to provide concrete suggestion and references for the administrative institutions, principles, and teachers. The methodology of the study involved literature review, questionnaire, and interview. The first drafts of the questionnaires were based on research approaches and questionnaire-designing theories, which were analyzed by literature-review, and examined by experts who tested the Reliability, the Validity and the Factor-Analysis. According to the scales and the location of the elementary schools, the empirical research was based on Random Sampling which 1,000 teachers were drawn from 80 schools. The researcher had 792 questionnaires, which were divided into 785 valid questionnaires, and 7 invalid questionnaires. The valid questionnaires took 78.5%. The statistic methodologies involved Mean, Standard Deviation, ANOVA, Person’s Production-Moment Correlation. The conclusion of the study is: 1. The leading-behavior tended to high-consideration and high-initiation. 2. The teachers did feel pressure. 3. The teachers’ background variable affected how they felt about leading-behavior and job stress. 4. Inasmuch as different leading-behavior, five variable levels of job stress existed. 5. Leading behavior was highly related with interpersonal relationship. 6. The Linear Structure Relation analysis was used to show the relationship among consideration and initiation behaviors and job stresses. 7. The Linear Structure Relation showed that consideration had more influence on job stress. Initiation lessened stress of interpersonal relationship, job, and learning; however, initiation did not show obvious influence on easing the stress of job -loading or time-managing. 8. Leading-behavior could predict job stress. According to the discovery, interview, and conclusion of the study, the researcher provided four suggestions for the educational administrative institutions, the principles, the teachers, and the further study. keyword:consideration;initiation;job-stress
