The differences in the organizational alienation for senior high school physical education teachers, who were different in their backgrounds, were investigated and the tendencies to the organizational alienation were predicted according to these results. The subjects in this study were 519 physical education teachers from public as well as private senior high schools in Taiwan. The data were obtained by using the questionnaire entitled "The Scale of Organizational Alienation for Senior High School Physical Education Teachers in Taiwan". The collected data were analyzed by means of statistical methods, including mean values, standardized scores, one - way MANOVA, and multiple - stepwise regression. According to the analyzed data, it was shown that: 1.As a whole, there were four aspects for the organizational alienation, including the sense of powerlessness, normlessness, social isolation and self - estrangement, which were affected by the leading style, social expectation, organizational relationship, expertise advancement, and job satisfaction. 2.Significant differences in organizational alienation were found for the senior high school physical education teachers. The differences resulted from their levels of education, positions, or areas. For instance, the tendencies to the organizational alienation were less significant for teachers who had higher degrees, take administrative work as part - time, or teach in the northern Taiwan. The influential factors to the organizational alienation varied. For elder teachers, they demanded much more about expertise advancement; while for teachers graduated from the physical education department of colleges, they regarded their job satisfaction as the most important. As to the professional teachers, they expected to have satisfying leading styles. For the physical education teachers in the southern Taiwan, they paid more attention to the social expectation of their roles. 3.The organizational alienation of senior high school physical education teachers could be predicted effectively by using its influential factors and background variants. The predictions worked better especially for social expectation, expertise progress, and organizational relationship. Cheng, Chih-fu 鄭志富 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 118 zh-TW
