After a brief introductory First chapter, which maps this thesis'' methedology, chapter2 and 3 focus on experiences and testmonies during the KMT,The rest of chapters4 and 5 looks at the growth of Chinese-language teaching institations and their relationship with political,relgious,and foreign entities.Based on research, this paper concludes that Mandarin teachers share different experiences and outlooks to their colleagues in the traditional education system.
