So if we can find a common ideal function and S/N ratio of a group of products, then we will get the target output by changing the input signals. By this way, we can also shorten the development time and waste of resources. According to such thinking, Dr. Taguchi brought up the idea of " Rewrite Technology". He proposed that photo、copy、stamping and injection molding are belonged to a more general category of technology -Rewrite Technology. It is intuitively by true that technologies mentioned above do seem similar. But Dr. Taguchi gave us neither explanation nor proof or derivation.
