Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 工業工程與工程管理學系 === 88 === If a supply chain network want to gain an optimal performance, it needs to cooperate with all nodes in the network, to deliver the right products to the right customers in the right quality at the right time. A manufacturer in the network cannot fully satisfy the demands of their customers, because its suppliers has their own production planning consider their own profitability. As a result, the manufacturer would lose the opportunity to gain better profit. Hence, this research focuses on how to connect the production planning of up-stream and down-stream factories closely. According to the linear programming production formulation proposed by this research and from the standpoint of a down-stream factory, this study links the production planing functions of up-stream factory and down-stream one. Using sensitivity analysis method and a price update module, a down-stream factory provides the price incentive to its up-stream supplier, when the market demands cannot be fully satisfied. This study proposes the method to compute a more profitable production plan for the down-stream factory. At the same time, the up-stream factory gain more profit by the price incentive offered by the down-stream factory. Experimental designs and statistical methods are used to evaluate and analyze the performance of the method. The results show that the method can link the production planing functions up-stream factory and down-stream one more closely.
