Using integrating History of Science into CAL Software to Senior
High School Students

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate the fitness and possibility of using the “ History of Science Approach CAL Software (HOSACALS) “ made by author to promote scientific inquiry thinking learning.
The subject of the research were four K-10 students ( three females and one male ).The data collected included performance pre-test ,using the program , performance post-test and semi-constructed interview.
Three conclusions were found in this study as follow:
(1)The HOSACALS appropriate for the K-10 students in following two aspects: (a) scientific inquiry thinking learning : whole design, subject matter choosing, learning strategy, learning motivation, the impressions of the science enterprise ; (b) the strategy of the software design : software operation, pictures arrangement and input the Chinese characters.
(2)The HOSACALS provide a different way of science learning besides regular education.
(3)After using the HOSACALS , the students showed more thinking characters which were advantageous to scientific inquiry .
