Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 88 === The purpose of this study was to survey the Living Technology pre-service teacher’s teaching environment, and set up a computerized distant guidance system for guiding the living technology student teachers. The researcher also evaluated the system according to the survey from the users of the system. By this way, the researcher could conclude if the system would provide another way to assist the Living Technology pre-service teachers when they encountered emotional or other affective problems in teaching. This study adopted system approach. First, the researcher inquired into the current intern system, the present situation, and the living technology curriculum with an extensive review of literature. The researcher then developed a computer web site server and two school workstations to fit the need. This system provided a real time and non-real time helping mechanism using the internet functions such as E-mail, BBS, and B. B. Call (real-time message devices) for immediate or off-line consulting to living technology student teachers. The conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. There was a need of the distant pre-service guidance for Living Technology student teachers. 2. The needs in the distant pre-service guidance function included problems in classroom management, teaching methods, instructional skills, teaching contents, and emotional disturbance. 3. According to the Internet features, these machine-proceeding designs of the system were divided into a real-time and non-real time systems. The former could process pre-service guidance by using B.B. Call (real-time message devices), World Wide Web bulletin board, E-mail, Net-meeting and on-line chatting program. The latter could ask pre-service guidance and World Wide Web message bulletin service. 4. The user evaluation survey showed that the living technology pre-service teachers preferred World Wide Web bulletin board and E-mail discussion in consulting teaching or emotional problems. The users had higher aspiration in using non-real time networking pre-service guidance also. They preferred using World Wide Web bulletin board and E-mail discussion in teaching problems. But in emotional problems, they tended to use E-mail discussion only. Keyword: Living Technology , Pre-service teacher , Distant guidance , Pre-service guidance , Internet .
