碩士 === 國防管理學院 === 資源管理研究所 === 88 === This study deals with the mutual influence among the officer''s Personality Trait , the Job Characterisitics and the Job Stress, and also deals with the different combinations that would be generated when the Intervening Variable is added, in an effort to facilitate the analysis of the connectivity among the three factors mentioned above, for the manager to gain understanding of the source, the characteristics and the theoritical basis of the Job Stress. The major framework of the sample space is constituted with officer students from the command-and-staff level courses of the Armed Forces University, the National Defense Management College and the Military Intelligence Research Course. The statistical methods of Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis and Regression Analysis are employed to determine the implications among the Personality Trait, the Job Characteristics, and the Job Stress, and, when the Intervening Variable is inserted, the various combinations. The verification results demonstrate that the people that fall within the A Group possess a variability , are not subject to affects of the rank , the work place and the specialty and are most likely to come under the Job stress, especially in the areas of the work overload and the role conflict. An appropriate range of the Job Stress and the response to alleviate such Job Stress are thus brought forward, with the hope to improve the management process and to serve as an reference to bringing up working performance.
