The subjects were 509 teachers from the middle part of Taiwan. The instruments used in the study included emotional intelligence questionnaire, social support questionnaire and job satisfaction questionnaire. The data was analyzed by the statistics methods of frequency distribution, t-test, one-way ANOVA, two-way MANOVA, correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: 1. There were significant differences existed among the variables of gender on cognizing emotions, peer support, salary satisfaction, and the participating of making decisions. 2. There were significant differences existed among the variables of marriage experience on emotional intelligence, ordinary support, family support, and social support. 3. There were significant differences existed among the variables of teaching experience on cognizing emotions, ordinary support, social support, salary satisfaction, administrative measure satisfaction, and job satisfaction. 4. There were significant differences existed among the variables of school level on peer support and administrative measure satisfaction. 5. There were positive correlation and significant level between the most part of the factors emotional intelligence and social support. 6. The variables of professional support, using emotions, peer support, managing emotions and marriage experience could significant predict the job achievement satisfaction. 7. The variables of gender, teaching experience, ordinary support, and using emotions could significant predict the job achievement satisfaction. 8. The variables of school level, ordinary support and managing emotions, cognizing emotions, teaching experience and professional support, and managing emotions could significant predict the job achievement satisfaction. 9. The variables of managing emotions, using emotions, ordinary support, and identifying emotions could significant predict the job challenge satisfaction. 10. The variables of using emotions, ordinary support, and managing emotions could significant predict the participating of making decision satisfaction. According to research conclusions, this study provided some suggestions for elementary and secondary teachers, school administration.
