Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 環境工程研究所 === 88 === Generally, the measurement methods of true color, ADMI 3- or 31-wavelengths, are using artificially grab sampling to obtain a batch measured data. However, these approaches are difficult to know well the variations of water quality. The purpose of this study is to investigate the real-time and continuous monitoring method of true color by digital image produced from CCD digital camera.
The study results reveal that the linear correlation coefficient (r) of digital image calibration curves are above 0.99. Using the standard solution of 250 ADMI to measure the feasibility of this method, the degree of accuracy and precision (RSD%) are 104.6±7.1% and 3.4% respectively, and the detection limit is 49ADMI. These results reveal the digital image method can measure the true color of wastewater accurately. Based upon the measurement of quality control to check the reproducibility, the relative errors of sample duplicate analysis is no more than 10%, and the recovery of quality sample analysis is within 100±6%.
Combining the digital image method with the Visual Basic programming develops a continuous monitoring true color instrument to real-time automatic measure the true color of wastewater. The measured values and images can be saved in the database, and supply the inquire function.
Using statistical t test to compare the measured results of digital image, 3- and 31-wavelength methods, the results reveal that no significant differences between the digital image and 31-wavelength approaches, the 3-wavelength approach measured values are higher than which measured by digital image and 31-wavelength methods.
