Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 88 === The current PCB Auto-Insertion machine can output a board in about 30 seconds with components, such as Resistors and Diodes, up to 1200 pieces within 30 by 35 cm2. But the PCB Auto-Insertion industry still relies on human eyes to inspect the product quality. Low inspection rate and unstable quality control process are the key problems to be solved. This paper applies computer vision technique to detect the defects of component missing and broken down on a PCB. An automatic, effective method which can inspect the above two types of defect in-line is proposed and developed by using special devised lighting environment and image processing algorithms. Experimental results show that the proposed new system for inspecting the auto-insertion PCB is robust with very high accuracy.
