The subjects used in this study were 433 elementary school teachers of Taipei City. The instruments administered to the subjects were Exercise Questionnaire, Exercise Health Belief Inventory, Exercise Social Support Inventory and Exercise Self-Efficacy Inventory. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square, t-test (independent), one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1.There was 27.5% teachers who had regular exercise habit. 2.There was significant difference of percent in regular exercise habit among teacher''s sex, age and job position. 3.Perceived barriers of exercise and cues to action were both negatively correlated with the degree of exercise participation. Perceived social support of exercise from friends and perceived self-efficacy of exercise were both positively correlated with the degree of exercise participation. Perceived self-efficacy of exercise, cues to action and perceived social support of exercise from friends significantly predicted the exercise participation. 4.There was significant difference of perceived barriers of exercise between male and female teachers. There were significant differences of cues to action among teacher''s sex, job position and marital status. There was no significant difference in perceived benefits of exercise among teacher''s background variables. 5.There were significant differences of perceived social support of exercise from family among teacher''s sex, age and married status. There was no significant difference of perceived social support of exercise from friends among teacher''s background variables. 6.There were significant differences of perceived self-efficacy of exercise among teacher''s sex, age and marital status. The explanations of the findings were offered, and the applications of the study were discussed. Finally, some suggestions for future studies were identified and discussed. 王俊明 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |
