Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 製造工程研究所 === 88 === Machine interference is a significant important problem for many manufacturing systems, particularly in highly-automated high-tech industry. How to estimate the machine interference time accurately for controlling the system performance is the most importance topic to deal with machine interference problem. This thesis developed an analytical queueing model for machine interference problem with external activities. The proposed methodology models the relationship of part-machine and machine-operator as open and closed queueing networks, respectively. There are interactions between those two queueing networks, and we can estimate two system performance indices, machine interference time and machine utilization, by implementing an iterative procedure which based on two moment approximation, MVA and network decomposition. Then we design an experiment which comparing our analytical queueing model with simulation results over a wide range of input parameters to find out the accurately rage of our model. According to the experiment results, the performance of our analytical queueing model is better than that from existing literatures because of consideration to GI/G/1 queueing systems and external activities.
