Thank to the burgeoning computer technology, the digital map data can be variously used by Geographic Information System, GIs. However, great effort in combining and modifying separately saved map data is required as well. The objective of this thesis is to apply seamless map to existing conditions. In the study, the present map management systems were taken into account to construct a configuration of seamless maps. Furthermore, method of combing rectangularly divided digital topographic maps were developed and tested. The result of the experiment shows that combing digital maps in the way of boundary alignment, which can solve the inconsistency of objects in connected sheets, make combination of maps more efficient.
