Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系 === 88 === lobal positioning system (GPS) developed in the US since 1970s is a precision global and all-weather positioning system。Its precision and real-time characteristics is particularly good for aerial vehicle guidance。The purpose of the present study is to develop a method that can guide bombs to designated targets using GPS signals。At the beginning of the study, computer modeling is employed to simulate the flights of a scaled bomb model。The bomb model ground simulation was performed at NCKU aerospace center before flight。Flight test was later performed at Pingtung ultralight aircraft park。In the flight test, the bomb’s GPS position, and flight speed signals were real time transmitted to the ground station monitoring the bomb’s flight path。
