Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 物理學系 === 88 === In this thesis we investigated the basic characteristics and performance of diode-pumped microchip solid-state laser in external fiber linking (i.e. weak optical feedback)as well as pumping power modulation. We found the behavior of microchip solid state laser with different feedback strengthes can be very different. On the other hand, there is a close correspondence between the external modulation frequency and the intrinsic frequency of the laser. Beside, I also home-made an 8051 single-chip temperature controller for the laser chip. I illustrated and summarized my practical experiences as well as the circuitry.
