There are two experiment of reports concerning about the (7d)1g of Na2, and 7 vibrational levels of the state have been confirmed. This work used two tunable pulse dye lasers to detect higher vibrational levels ( v>7 ) of Na2 (7d)1g state by OODR fluorescence depletion method. We described as the follow processes: B 1Πu ( v’, J’ ) ← X 1Σ+g ( v ”, J” ) + hν1 ( PUMP ) (7d) 1g ( v, J ) ← B 1Πu ( v’, J’ ) + hν2 ( PROBE ) The detection method of this experiment is below: B 1Πu ( v’, J’ )  X 1Σ+g ( v ”, J” ) + hν3(Fluo.) We have observed 66 rovibrational levels,including 9 vibrational levels of the (7d)1g state, and confirmed the 7-15 vibrational levels by 1995’s experiment results.
