Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 化學工程學系 === 88 === Various crosslinked chitosan membranes have been prepared by crosslinking with sulfuric acid, formaldehyde, and glutaraldehyde in this study. The degrees of substitution and molecular structures of the mem-branes have been determined by FTIR and elemental analysis (EA). The morphology of membranes has been observed by SEM. The influence of crosslinking agents on the separation factor and permeation rate of those membranes used for the separation of wa-ter-ethanol mixtures by pervaporation was investigated. It is found that membranes crosslinked by sulfuric acid have the best separation performance. The experimental results were explained by ionic properties and chemical structures of the membrane.
