Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程學系 === 88 === The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the application of sonic echo method of nondestructive test in piling engineering. The basic principle of sonic echo method in piling engineering is derivatived by one-dimension wave theory. It will occur different characteristics of reflection and refraction for different boundary conditions and pile geometry as wave propagating through the pile. By those characteristics, we can detect and judge the integrity of pile. Besides, this paper uses the FEM to evaluate different conditions and parameters of pile in order to understand the signal characteristics. Hopefully, the integrity of pile can be judged rapidly and accurately in the future.
