The predicted values were compared with the values predicted by Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). The results indicate that the soil erosion predicted by AGNPS is much less than the values predicted by USLE. The ratio is 1:3.54 to 1:4.81. The measured sediment yields were also compared with the predicted values. The results show that sediment yields are over-estimated during the developing period. Different unit cell area was used in AGNPS to simulate the sediment yield on slopeland.
