It has been suggested by former researchers that the cracks were created due to inconformity of strain in the confined and unconfined zones. Further, the strength of a composite structure is controlled by the behavior of shear studs. A series of experimental work have been conducted to prove this issue. The parameters of the study include locations of wire mesh and the arrangements of the shear studs. Relative slip of the concrete slab and steel beam as well as the development of strains of each shear studs were recorded and studied in detail. Results reflected that different arrangements of the shear studs have been the major control factor for the creation of crack. J. Y. Richard Yen 閰嘉義 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 109 zh-TW
