Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 電子工程學系 === 88 === Ovarian cancer is one of the most mortal female cancers in the civilized countries. Ultrasonic technique is a popular detection facility. In the way to judge the ovarian tumor malignancy on the ultrasonic image, doctor usually inspects the surface of the ovarian tumor and the amount of the proliferous tissues in the ovarian tumor. Therefore a method of 3D surface of ultrasonic ovarian tumor image can assist doctors to improve the correctness of the diagnosis.
In the study, the functions of image classification and edge detection developed by the previous studies have been integrated with the 3D display platform developed by this study as a prototype system for display of 3D ultrasonic ovarian image. The functions of this system include image classification, edge detection, sequential image display, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), surface rendering to display ovarian contour. The proposed computer system is also helpful to developing the technology of manufacturing medical devices and instrument in our country.
