Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽大學 === 營建工程系碩士班 === 88 === In the recent years, the development of Non-destructive Testing (NDT) methods to assess the condition of bridge foundations has been recognized as a research area with very high potentials. Two stress wave methods commonly used in bridge foundation NDT are the transient wave methods and the steady state pulse wave methods. These two groups of methods can be categorized as methods applying theories of wave propagation within the high frequency range. On the other hand, an alternative procedure (such as Dynamic Foundation Response, DFR) is to first excite the testing objects with their fundamental modes of vibration and then to evaluate the properties or geometry of the structures with the recorded signals within the relatively law frequency range. In another word, the DFR methods assess the foundation conditions by comparing the theoretical or simulated data with the test data carried out in the field. The objective of this paper is to study the dynamic response for pile foundations with different conditions of the super-structures simulated using structural models with realistic values. Based on the numerical results we obtained, it is intended to summarize the characteristics of the dynamic responses using the DFR or related methods and to apply such experiences to the on-going DFR related studies in relation to more realistic structural configurations.
