They have been trying their best to be flexible and innovative, using particularly the strategic alliance with foreign enterprises as a competition cutting edge. But does such a strategic alliance work? Can it achieve what those entrepreneurs wait for? In order to respond to these questions and make clear the specific variables, management model and membership variables of this strategic alliance, we have to evaluate the correlation between the performance of enterprises and their strategic alliance with the help of rational analysis and mathematical tools. We do this in the hope of finding the optimal pattern of a strategic alliance in order that such a research help these Taiwanese enterprises of Machinery choose the best strategic partner in the international market.
