Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 電機工程學系 === 88 === The requirements of energy conservation and environmental protection had made the co-generation systems more and more important. The problems concerned with the connections of co-generation systems and utility power system and the affections on the power quality, reliability and security of the whole power system should be considered in the erection of co-generation plant, in which the protective coordination of co-generation system is an important factor. Both the system connection and generator system protections should be taken into consideration to designs the protective coordination of co-generator system. The codes and the criterions specified by utility should be satisfied in the system connection protection, and some standards associated with the generators and apparatus protections are also considered in the design of protective coordination. In this thesis, the evaluations and the planning of co-generation system in the primary stage of the plant erection based on the codes and criterions specified by the utility of Taipower system are proposed. Then, the modular design concepts of protective coordination based on the IEEE standards associated with the generators and apparatus protections are proposed, from which the procedures of protective coordination for various types of co-generation system can be drawn out systematically. There are two modules of protective coordination to be constructed namely generation system protection module and system connection protection module, which can be used to design the protection coordination of generation system and system connection, respectively. Finally, a practical case of the design of protective coordination of a typical co-generation system is presented to illustrate that the protective coordination design results based on the proposed modules of protective coordination are better than the conventional design results. Furthermore, the modular protection concepts can also be extended to other types of generation system even to the whole power system protections.
