碩士 === 中原大學 === 建築學系 === 88 === During the genernation of 1950-1960，the styles of building in Taiwan were changed from the restoration of the old and the China traditional style to be more looking forward to Taiwan native traditional building. In the age of 1990，Taiwan was confronted with the global building industry，and it appeared the subject of 「international」and 「region」for discussion. From 1989 to 1997，the policy「build I-Lan County by culture」of the ruling party in I-Lan that were working through I-Lan county Magistrate Mr.Chen Ting-Nan and Mr.Yu His-Kun，and it appeared「I-Lan phenomenon」in the age of 1990.Taipei is a special Municipality，and I-Lan is a county. Both of them are different. Especially，on the topics of politics，culture and the location of I-Lan that are all in the rim of the country. I-Lan started the development of itself from the view of region，and it developed it’s own character of how to use its resources. For the space of architecture，I-Lan county government consigned Team Zoo that is from Japan to proceed the planning「the development and construction of Tung San River landscape」.It would change Tung San River from the original use for water conservancy and drainage to be the landscape of region with the value of sightseeing，and to be the entrance of Taiwan to leap forward the international stage of the world .The result of demonstration in the environment space of Tung San River that affected the native building industry to pay attention to the special feature of the region，and it also appeared the subject of design region space for discussion. Therefore，there was a series of planning for the whole campus . The engineering of the public district and the 「I-Lan region house」activity of residents are all managed by I-Lan county government. It was a kind of formulation and realization to talk about 「I-Lan phenomenon」 in Taiwan at the end of the twentieth century. In the age of 1990，I-Lan was standing at the place of a dot. In the era of Taiwan，there is no doubt about I-Lan returned to have its own politics to declare the sense oh environment and to emphasize architecture. All of above provide a direction for Taiwan when it was in chaos and flood of post-modern architecture. It also resisted any architecture that was superficial and insubstantial. It is a tendency and necessity of having more leisure time for people in Taiwan，I-Lan builds the best sense for the whole environment that is providing the direction for people to entertain themselves .When they are at leisure，and having the best living quality in the whole environment. I-Lan phenomenon，it reflects that people demand to have the best living environment in everything----cities，urban districts，counties. However，environment is the basic living quality. When 「I-Lan phenomenon」was pointing out the sense of environment，some space of the architecture were sinking into the situation of narrow-minded loyalty to some alien styles. Therefore，it was needed to bring I-Lan to the essence of I-Lan in the whole environment of native space. To understand what kind of characteristic and what is suitable for the base of the whole environment that is the native attitude of region space. and not to have alien architecture ,and the relations between individual and entirety are mutual aid and coordinate that is needed to be more understand，whole environment have to be considered. The last，the space of new style architecture can be concerned about the meaning and the influence for the native environment .Today，to appear the sense of environment to emphasize the idyll and multiformity of construction，and are the meaning of region. Therefore，「the multiformity of region space」is one of directions that is feasible and looking forward today.
