Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 室內設計學系 === 88 === Abstract Due to the rapid change of the conception of pre-school education , most of the interior designers nowadays, who are lack of updated knowledge of pre-school education, cannot satisfy what teachers and students need. This problem has called more and more attention of researchers and experts. Based on the literature research and related analysis, the author constructed the framework of “A checklist matrix of space concept”,which is short for “The checklist matrix of space concept of Pre-education pattern vs.teaching methodolory”. The author applied it as this study’s instrument to help understand 1) if a trained interior space designer can stimulate the Production of educational activities? 2)the interaction between the conception and the enforcement of space design. In other words, the author wishes to further explore the degree of the participation of the users of the space during designing process as well as the ability of the users to manipulate or reproduce the function of the space. By means of “A checklist matrix of space concept”, this study found that space conception/enforcement changes with teaching/learning interaction. Learners (children) are stimulated to learn not only by the message the surrounding space itself conveys, but by the teachers as well. Teachers play an important part in producing significant learning effect. If a teacher is equipped with the ability to design the space and can observe closely how children interact with their surroundings, a better educational quality can definitely be achieved. “A checklist matrix of space concept”, being corrected several times before printed, comes from the author’s observation. It is useful in providing the references for the communication of the interior designer and pre-school teachers. Also, it is useful in proposing the suggestions to pre-school education space designers on how they should update the knowledge of pre-school education. It is hoped that better educational activities can be achieved in the near future.
