HSIEH-CHUNG 劉學中 碩士 中原大學 物理學系 88 Reflectivity and photoluminescence studies on the GaAs/AlAs Bragg mirror with the InGaAs/InGaAsP multiple-quantum-well absorbing layer were performed. An absorption dip enhanced by the optical confinement of the Fabry-Perot resonance was observed in the reflectivity spectra. The absorption intensity of the Fabry-Perot mode increases with increasing temperature and can be explained by the resonant coincidence of the Fabry-Perot cavity mode and the center of the stop band of the Bragg mirror. The photoluminescence studies provide a vehicle for obtaining the absorption coefficient of the cavity medium by measuring the quality factor of the Fabry-Perot mode. The refractive indexes of the Bragg mirror and cover layer were fitted by tuning the angle of incidence (in reflectivity) and angle of detection (in photoluminescence), respectively. Shen.
