Among them, information industry has been the most significant part and further laptop manufacturing field is the best one in it. According to IDC, capacity of laptop has been forecasted to increase over 22 million sets in 2000 year, about 15.7% more compared to last year, and it also predicted that multed-growth rate will be around 13%. It is easy to notice that the demand is very impressive in the future four years. On the other hand, the quality and the ability of the cost control have been highly thought of by international manufacture these years. The statistic data of MIC has shown that the output of laptops is up to 9 million sets in Taiwan, about 51% of whole world''s notebook output. It also forecasts the volume of the laptops will be up to 14 million sets in the next couple years, about 64% all over the world. And we can see the manufacture of laptop in Taiwan has been the top one of the world. Human Resource Management (HRM) has to act a very important role to reserve the strength in the long term because of the strongly competitive impress in the field of information technology. However, people may wonder how the well-established HRM instruction to be recognized accepted and carried out. Consequently, I choose the laptop manufacturer to be the target to analyze and research the relationship between theory and pratice of Human Resource Management. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method that set population decision by experts. Implementing AHP can simplify the complex issues and also systematize it, so that it can get ideal result more precisely. First of all, research direction begins with research of reference and combines with the suggestion and advisement of the practical experts in the filed of the human resource management to define the vital activity and module of Human Resource Management. Second, take use of the AHP, proposed by Saaty, to analyze the difference of the level of human resource management items under the effect of operating performance. Third, by combining with the revised AHP, proposed by Belton & Gear, and the original AHP, proposed by Saaty, counts out the level of overall taking in pratice of Human Resource Management in each manufacturer. Finally, give the result of this research to the manufacturer for their reference.
