Customer’s satisfaction and production costs are the performance indices to evaluate supply chain’s efficiency. We investigate one-site and multi-site order-up-to level compensation policies and propose a coordinated-based policy as well. Simulation results show that our proposed coordinated mechanism of order-up-to level outperforms to the one-site and multi-site policies. Furthermore, this research observes some interesting phenomenons (particularly the bullwhip and ripple effects). This research concludes with an extension of the linear supply chain model to a tree-like supply chain system, showing the feasibility of the coordinated-based order-up-level policy in a general case.
